I admittedly did NOT desire white upvc. husband didn't want timber considering of the maintenance. prices of alu-clad timber was extortionate. And so later on 3 years of looking, we constitute Choices Windows. They practice LOTS of ranges but the 1 nosotros chose was Residence 9. It comes in about 10 different colours foiled finish which looks like wood. We chose silvered oak & they looked like they had been there for years from day one. So effective that I Even so go door knocking window salesmen who stand adjacent to them & can't encounter that they are new & non old wood. You can cull glass thickness (and then we chose 4mm internal & 6mm external equally live on a main route & the audio proofing (not to mention the improved draught-proof & estrus retention) is astonishing - can't hear the route at all. Highly recommend. We were able to go direct but unremarkably you would utilise a local supplier/installer. Just a note we had 2 big trophy & patio doors as well as smaller units they CANNOT exist installed by a normal window fitter every bit they come as sealed units (can't be taken autonomously unless you know how) & are VERY heavy.
